No. If you can use a laptop, you can use LawWorld. Everything works in plain English — you type questions and instructions the way you would say them to a colleague, and the interface follows patterns you already know from everyday apps.

LawWorld does not train its own AI model. It retrieves the relevant Indian-law sources from its library and uses leading AI models to explain them, so answers stay tied to real provisions and judgments.

Yes. Answers reference the Acts, sections and judgments they rely on, so you can open and verify the authority yourself. When the library has nothing relevant to your question, LawChat tells you so rather than inventing a citation.

AI output is assistance, not legal advice — always verify citations before relying on them in court, exactly as you would with a junior’s research note.

Case laws is judgment search: search Available Indian judgments by name, section, phrase or issue, with AI headnotes and AI search to find the right authority fast. LawChat is conversational and broader — use it when you want an explained answer rather than a list of authorities.

They are the three levels of AI that power different tasks. Essential AI handles LawChat answers, AI search and commentary queries; Standard AI adds deeper reasoning and standard drafting; Pro AI uses the most capable models for pro drafting. All three are billed on actual usage from your wallet, at the same rates on Pay as you go and Pro, as shown on the pricing page.

Calendar keeps your hearings, deadlines and tasks in one schedule, so a date entered on a case is never lost in a diary. It is included with Pro and is not available on Pay as you go.

Yes — Pro includes 1 user. More users are licences at ₹1,500 per user per month or ₹12,000 per year, plus 18% GST, paid through Razorpay with a tax invoice. A licence added mid-period is pro-rated: ₹50 a day for the days left on a monthly plan (15 days = ₹750), or days left ÷ 365 × ₹12,000 on a yearly plan. The firm admin assigns users to licences, and deleting a user frees a licence.

Team Chat gives you a secure workspace for office discussions and file sharing, so matter conversations stay inside LawWorld instead of in a personal messaging app. Role-based permissions control who can see and edit what.

It gives your clients a controlled window into their own matter: case status, shared documents and bills — without calls to your office for every update. You decide what is visible. It is included with the Pro plan.

Yes. Drafting is live, with available guided document types — petitions, pleadings, affidavits, notices and more. You choose the document type, answer a short set of questions, and review a structured first draft that you can edit and refine.

No. All prices on the site are exclusive of GST; 18% GST is added at checkout. You receive a GST-compliant tax invoice for every payment, which your firm can use for input tax credit where applicable.

Yes — Pro is ₹12,000 per year when paid annually, against ₹18,000 on monthly billing, a saving of 33%.

The wallet is a prepaid balance you top up and spend on usage-based items: AI usage (Essential, Standard and Pro AI), drafting fees, translation, Steno, extra cases (₹15 per case per month) and extra storage. 1 rupee = 1 credit, so the rupee value shown anywhere in the app is the exact cost. You are only charged when you actually use one of these features, and a balance of at least ₹300 is needed to start a draft or any research.

Pro user licences and the Pro subscription are paid through Razorpay with 18% GST and a tax invoice, not from the wallet.

The monthly Pro plan is ₹1,500 per user licence per month and the yearly plan ₹12,000 per licence for the year, plus 18% GST, paid through Razorpay. You can renew early, in the last 7 days of your period, and the new period starts when the current one ends. The renewal price is all your user licences × ₹1,500 a month (or ₹12,000 a year), plus 18% GST, shown up front, and your firm admin can reduce the number of licences before paying.

If your Pro period ends unpaid, your firm can still sign in, but every feature is locked behind a prompt to Renew Pro or Switch to Pay as you go. Your wallet balance, cases, documents and other work are kept. If you renew after the end date, the new period starts on the day you renew.

You can move from Pay as you go to Pro at any time from the pricing page, keeping your wallet balance and all your work. Subscription payments are non-refundable; our refund & cancellation policy explains exactly how each case is handled. For any billing question, write to enquiry@lawworld.ai.

Yes. The switch takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; if your Pro period has already ended, it happens straight away. ₹10 per existing client is charged up front from your wallet (clients in the Bin are not counted). If your wallet is short on the switch date, you will be asked to top up and complete the switch, or renew Pro.

Pay as you go keeps 5 active cases. You choose which 5; the rest are frozen (read-only, never deleted), and you can swap which cases are active later. Storage above the Pay as you go allowance is charged for the current month up front (less what Pro already paid), then monthly at the Pay as you go rate. Users beyond the 1 Pay as you go user are deactivated; the firm's super admin always stays.

Content you opened free on Pro (e-books, videos, compiler projects and commentary) stays open for 7 days after the switch, then needs Pay as you go rates. Anything you paid for stays yours.

News, videos, shorts and e-books are open to everyone. Blogs and articles show a free preview; creating a free LawWorld account unlocks the full piece.

The e-books on the public site are free to read and download. Inside the app there is also a larger library: Pay-as-you-go includes 20 free titles over the life of the account and ₹20 for each further title, and Pro subscribers read every title free. Downloads are ₹50 on Pay-as-you-go and ₹40 on Pro.
